Total Reward Statement
What Are They?
As part of the ongoing drive to provide additional information to all its staff, in October 2014 the NHS launched a new personalised statement to explain what each employees benefits are. These statements can be accessed in different ways and will hold different information based upon your employment.
This statement can take 2 forms:
- Annual Benefit Statement
- Total Reward Statement.
Total Reward Statements will be provided annually to most NHS employees. They will be accessible online via the TRS portal and via ESR Employee Self Service for organisations that use the facility.
An ABS is different to a TRS because you will not receive the employment or local benefits information as this is information provided via ESR.
